Tenured Full Professor at Faculty of Forestry and cross-appointed to the Department of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering since 2001. Appointed as a tenured Associate Professor in the Faculty of Forestry (UofT) in 2001 after serving Department of Chemical Engineering of University of New Brunswick as an Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies. At present also holds an adjunct professor appointment in Chemical Engineering Department of University of New Brunswick, Fredericton and a Graduate faculty appointment with Institute for Environmental Studies, University of Toronto. Recipient of one of the 2001 Industry-University Synergy Awards and American Plastics Society (SPE) award for Significant Industrial Contribution in 2002.
